Deacon Ministry—Chairman Patrick Kennedy
Our
mission is to carrying out servant ministry to the church, as indicate
in Acts 6: 1-6. In particular, Deacons are to serve with the Pastor
in performing Pastoral duties and meeting the needs of the congregation
by: proclaiming the Gospel to believers and unbelievers; caring
for church members and other in the community; and leading the church
to accomplish its mission through worship, evangelism, discipleship,
ministry, and fellowship.
Deacons are ordain and appointed through the church body. We meet
every Saturday before the first Sunday.

Choir—Men’s Choir—President Sandy Kennedy
This
mission of the Men’s choir is to sing songs of praise unto the Lord
and build a better men’s relationship to the church and Christ.
We meet every Thursday at 7:00 pm in the BHBC Fellowship Hall. If
anyone is interested in joining our choir, they must be a true believer
of God’s Holy word and express your interest in joining the choir.
The
BHBC Men’s choir, founded in 1996 by Rev. B.R. Wilson, celebrates
our anniversary the third Sunday in October. Our officers are President
– Sandy Kennedy, Vice-President - Bernard Walker, Secretary – Brian
Sims, Treasurer – Patrick Kennedy.

Missionary Society—President Henrietta Moore
Missionary Circles H1 and
H2 were combined many years ago. The late Rev. Walker divided the
Missionary Society into 4 circles according to areas of church membership.
Our purpose is to visit and provide aid to the sick, shut-in and
the distressed through telephone calls and visitations. We attend
the Life Style Conference in
Columbia SC.
We meet at 6:00pm on the last Tuesday of the month. All BHBC members
are eligible to join the Missionary Society. Currently, our members
range from age 35 to 88, and we celebrate our anniversary the 4th
Sunday in April.

purpose is to assist the pastor and his family with whatever they
need. We meet the first Monday of each month at 7:00pm. Anyone can
join this auxiliary if they love the Lord and love the pastor.

Collins
Our
purpose is to introduce men, women, boys, and girls to Christ as
Lord and Savior and to involve them in meaningful church relationships.
We help all who come to Sunday School to become more mature people
for God through the study of the Biblical lessons and service to
others. Our goal is to get every church family to regularly attend
the Sunday School class of their choice. We have Sunday School classes
every Sunday at 9:30 am.
Please
attend the class of your preference. The ages are just a reference.

Our purpose is to continuously train a child in the way of the Lord.
To foster spiritual growth in each of our youth and teach them to
serve God in everything they do. Our goal this year is to grow our
membership and to become a stronger youth usher board for our church
family. We meet with the entire Boyd Hill Baptist Church when applicable,
and we usher the fourth Sunday of each month. To become a member
of the Youth Usher Board, a person must be baptized and a Christian.

Van Ministry—President Willie Perry
Our
purpose is to transport all who need a ride to and from church events
and other activities as arranged by the church auxiliaries in a
safe, timely manner. We kindly ask you to contact us at
803.322.3722 if you need a ride. Please call early to give
the drivers advance notice so they can plan their route. Do not
wait until the last minute to call.
